About the game and the development

I wanted to forget about this game completely, but over the last month there were several comments under the first post (on GameJolt)

I wanted to talk about how the game was developed and the second part

It all started when I heard about the itch io platform and wanted to make and release a full-fledged game, not the engine learning projects, I told my friend about it and he suggested a joke game about our friend (that's why the game is called Canya: the seriy dayn, we wanted to make a joke about our friend whose name is Sanya, and then we twisted the name to make it look better)

We were all playing fortnite at that time, and my friend and Sania had some quarrels, so that's what lead to the creation of this game.

Originally we wanted to make like a typical second-rate indie game on Unity with crappy graphics and etc. But in the end we decided to make something more or less normal. But in any case the game was still a parody of Slender.

I then, when I upgraded my computer I decided to look through all the projects for unreal engine and saw the previous version. That's when it hurt my eyes. That's how this "new" version came about, I even made a friend do the voiceover, but we were both too lazy to do the translation into other languages

To be honest I liked the creation of the game, even though it was only a parody of Slender. But most of all I like the humorous ending.

And now for the second part.

even with the release of the game is a reference to the second part (at the beginning of the game in the house is a newspaper), I wanted to give it up completely, but the activity under this game I really liked, even a friend liked the game. The second part will come out, but when it comes out is another question. maybe after the full release of Backrooms: You've Been Here Before I will do the second part, but it's a matter of time.

Thank you for reading, Thank you all for being active under my posts

and special thanks to itch io and GameJolt for their platforms for indie developers and GameJolt for their game API (i liked it, especially the achievements)

P.S. wow this is a really long post
